Fast-fashion label Pretty Little Thing’s latest celebrity collaboration is with Naomi Campbell.

The 82-piece collection has attracted controversy, with many asking why the supermodel would align herself with a brand known for poor-quality, mass-produced clothing.

WHY SHOULD I BUY?

Following revelations in 2020 that Boohoo (PLT’s parent company) was paying garment workers in Leicester as little as £3.50 an hour, the brand partnered with Fast Forward to audit its UK manufacturers. Laudable, but what about its non-UK-based manufacturers, which make up most of its supply chain?

WHY SHOULDN'T I BUY?

Despite an estimated worth of £3.8 billion, the brand appears to reinvest very little in improving quality of materials, reducing greenhouse emissions or paying a living wage to workers throughout its supply chain.
